Terms and Conditions for Miss Hot Rod South Africa Competition

TERMS:
"Contestant" - the person applying for the Miss Hot Rod SA Competition run by YC Events.
"Event" - The Miss Hot Rod competition or any event run by YC Events

The Contestant must reside in South Africa

The Contestant must be over the age of 18 or given permission by their legal guardians to enter the competition if they are younger than 18

The Contestant understands fully that the entrance fee for the competition is "R100". This fee is non refundable or transferable in any way.

In order to be able to win, the Contestant must be part of both the FaceBook competition and to be present at the final eliminations on the 2nd June 2019 in Benoni, Gauteng.

The organizers take no responsibility for any damage / losses whatsoever.

The Contestant gives us and our sponsors concent to put up pictures of themselves on social media, this website, other forms of media.

The Contestant realises that newspapers and others may take and publish pictures of them at the event and place it on the newspapers as done at most events.

Winners give YC Events and its authorized agents consent to use their names for publicity purposes, unless refused.

Participants in the "Event" acknowledge that although all precautions have been taken by the organizing body, there may be dangers inherent in participating in the Event. Participants voluntarily assume such risks and waive all claim of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising in relation to the Event against any parties, including but not limited to the organising body, sponsors, advertisers, local authorities, directors, employees and suppliers of these parties and any individual, official, marshal or agent. The "Contestant" irrevocably agrees to and consent to their photograph being used to market and/or publicise the Event by the Event organisers. The Participants indemnify the Parties against any liabilities or claims of any nature whatsoever and howsoever arising (whether directly or indirectly, whether from negligence, albeit gross and/or from involvement in or passage to or from the Event) including but not limited to liability or delay, inconvenience, expenses sustained, incurred or put to by Participants and/or by any minor child under the care or control of Participants, parents or guardians authorising a minor’s participation in the Event, hereby consent to such a minor not being capable of waiving his/her rights as stipulated above. We are fully within our rights to say tickets/entries cannot be refunded, cancelled, returned or exchanged on account of weather or unforeseen events occurring beyond the control of the event organisers.
